The Barbereux School offers a developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum. We emphasize helping children acquire knowledge by discovering concepts and solutions on their own. Creative art and music activities are a strong emphasis as well as pre-reading, writing, math and science activities. Measures are taken to ensure that each child's individual needs will be met, their self-worth applauded and their highest potential achieved.

The Preschool classroom is designed for children 2-1/2 years of age by September 1. The Junior Kindergarten is for children 4 years of age by September 1. The Primary classroom is a Kindergarten/Grade 1 experience.
